Join us for a time of contemplation and mindfulness practices. We will do gentle yoga, Centering Prayer and meditation, movement, explore prayer through the mind and the body and allow what is wanting to emerge to be known to us. Practices of body awareness, a variety of simple mindfulness exercises, loving kindness meditation, breathing techniques, guided imagery and nature experiences will be offered. Participants can walk by the river, explore the grounds, walk the Labyrinth, sit on the many benches or swing at the pavilion. Rest your mind, relax your body and rejuvenate your soul with yoga, prayer and contemplation. Periods of silence will offer participants an opportunity to reconnect to themselves and to Spirit. The yogic lifestyle involves living mindfully and holistically in every aspect of our lives. This retreat welcomes beginners as well as experienced yoga practitioners. Please wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a journal and a mat.
